Ezra Miller

Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps.....
I did not watch your video, but the perhaps were intentional. I hope he’s not cast aside in Hollywood because he’s open about his ambiguity or only gets roles in shit films. I’ve spoken several times in this thread about how attractive I find him, but I can’t say I know a lot about his acting ability. I know he played the flash and the other guy in Wallflower. I hope the only work he gets isn’t just being the fag in pantyhose. I hope his looks aren’t a detriment.

Tbh he’s almost A-list talent in this town, he doesn’t have any problem being offered all kinds of roles, he took Flash for the relevancy/spotlight of the superhero genre and for the mountain of cash. But he’s done edgy projects in the past and will continue to do them again.

Ezra was BRILLIANT in We Need to Talk About Kevin. He was also great in City Island and managed to stand out among a pretty all-star cast including Andy Garcia. He seems to prefer lowkey work and indie films.

As an actor, he seems in that same creative space Joseph Gordon-Levitt occupied right before he started doing big pictures like 500 Days of Summer, Inception, and The Dark Knight Rises. There was a time where Joseph was only doing indie films or smaller pictures. He also was comfortable doing LGBTQ+ roles and highlighting his androgyny. His talent was obvious and immense, but for a while he was comfortable with quality over commercial success.

Ezra has shown similar promise in Kevin, and in other films. I think he’s still waiting for that major vehicle. For Joseph it was 500 Days of Summer. Joseph was also around the same age when his career really took off (he was 28, Ezra’s 27).

We’ll see.

Well it looks like The Flash is Ezra’s major vehicle. The role already made him B+ list in two superhero ensemble films (and one huge impact TV crossover) and his solo film will make him A list. But I agree with you, there is a definite similarity between Ezra and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as far as their early career path and role tones of alternative sexuality. Though as far as I’ve heard, while Ezra lives queer for real, JGL seems pretty straight-laced irl (unfortunately! Lol)

Ezra was trending on twitter for this viral video which appears to show him choking out a woman.

“A source has come forward and is revealing the alleged real story behind the video of Ezra Miller appearing to choke a woman in a bar. The altercation apparently went down at Prikið Kaffihús, a trendy bar in Reykjavik, Iceland at around 6 p.m. on April 1.
The source told Variety that this altercation was actually serious, and not a joke, and that the man, who has been officially identified as Ezra Miller, was then escorted from the premises.

The source added that Miller was approached by a group of fans at the bar who were “quite pushy.” He then lost his temper at this one woman in particular and put his hands around her throat.”

Guys...don't believe anything..
Don’t believe the video evidence of him chokeslamming a woman into the ground, corroborated by people who witnessed it firsthand? Why not? Even if it’s a joke, it’s in really poor taste for someone who has spoken at length concerning violence against women in our society.

I agree in principle, but I’m waiting to hear from Ezra’s camp but thus far it’s been nothing but crickets. I fear his career may have been effectively canceled if further context can’t be provided to this video. The mobs on twitter are dragging him savagely. :emoji_cry:

No offense, but what could his camp say that could make his actions alright?

Really????
It's a joke ... it's very obvious.
Except no? Doesn’t look like a joke to me. And if it is a joke, again, it’s in exceptionally bad taste, and you would think that his camp would have made a statement by now confirming that. But it’s been radio silence from them.

I’m equally confused by this. It’s cringe as fuck, but she does appear to laugh and he does seem to lower her to the ground “carefully” (albeit with a hand clasped around her throat...)
Wtf
She’s laughing at first because according to the story, she thought it was a joke. But you hear her audibly gasp when he throws her to the ground, and that’s when her friends who are filming freak out. There’s really no context that could make this look good. And again, it’s very alarming that no statement has been made from him or his representatives. That’s not a good look and suggests that it’s not as simple as them just saying “haha jk fooled you”
