okay so. The flash has rekindled my attraction to them. I stg a fat ass and brown eyes has such an effect on me. Anyway. Is there anyone willing to provide with non-bias accurate information on the situation? I just want to understand how severe things have gotten. The good and the bad. Also all the stuff that was proven to be false. Idk. I don’t wanna feel awful for being attracted to them but I also am prepared for it? Not that I have to support them to be attracted to them.. I just. Ugh idk.
They were found guilty of trespassing and fined $500 and a year of probation.

Miller isn't that powerful a person for big studios to protect that much. If they were guilty, the movie would've been shelved or extensively reshot.
Now I will be surprised if they're kept for the DCU because it's unlikely they will at this rate.

None of the shit that Ezra got accused of would have been taken seriously or considered to matter at all if they were straight, cis and always masc-presenting. Notice that in articles about the so-called scandals, outlets would pick photos of Ezra in makeup or looking “weird” instead of the usual red carpet or publicity stills. And all the hate from bros on Reddit who act like they’ve never supported a superhero or action movie starring a “bad” person before… meanwhile Robert Downey Jr. was convicted of worse, Scientologists like Tom Cruise keep starring in movies despite belonging to an ACTUAL cult that harms people, etc etc. If Ezra had played the Hollywood game and kept quiet about being queer and non-binary, none of this would have blown up at all. But there are still a lot of scared conservatives behind Hollywood’s alleged liberalism who don’t wanna lose ticket sales from middle America, and a lot of superhero fans on sites like Reddit who feel threatened by anything other than traditional masculinity (and are also angry about the Snyderverse ending which is a whole other silly thing), so the anger against Ezra gets totally blown out of proportion.

It’s a shame that our society is still so conservative that it’s going to be decades before we get an openly queer leading man in a mainstream movie that succeeds.
But at least we got one movie with TWO Ezras on screen looking fine AF.

All I know is that I’d love if y’all just posted less text and more images.
You know, they would be better off concentrating on producing the DCU as limited series for HBO. Movie theaters are dying. The budgets are bloated. It’s not that some of these films aren’t enjoyable, people just don’t feel like paying an arm and a leg to see them in a cramped movie theater. We also know that the films will get a home release in 90 days. “The Flash” is coming out on digital in a month. We’ve all gotten used to watching film and tv on demand when we want. We can happily start and stop watching. Zaslav is one of the biggest fuck ups in entertainment history and Tim Gunn was the last person WBD wanted to take over. Everyone else they asked said no. He, too, is a moron.

They do need to get the budgets under control but all blockbusters do at this rate.
Saying that I do think the DCU can be a cinematic universe but it needs to learn what didn't work and not make the mistakes the DCEU did.
Funnily enough SDCC are doing an exclusive Funko Pop of this scene though.

See like idk what’s true or not but after digging on my own, the person did come out and admit to blowing things out of proportion, so idk. Tysm for the info.
