Yes, but this garbage clogs up the gay porn scene with gigolos who don't even make gay porn. You grab something like Cadinot or early 80-90's porn and you see the steep decline in performance.

Especially since the business model now is migrating to where you pay for products without previews, for which there is no refund policy, so all these garbage sellers can make trash bait without consequence because they get the money up front. Traditional gay studios charge a subscription, but you know the product you are buying.

You can try to make the analogy with female strippers, but it'd be a bad one. Women in porn don't pretend to have sex with women and then not do it. A straight man in straight porn refusing to rim or kiss girls would be unthinkable, they'd never work in industry again. Straight women don't get penalized for having lesbian scenes. This is specifically a scenario that is predominantly present in the gay porn scene because it is allowed to have impostors to peddle their shit products under endorsement by other gay porn stars and the market does not punish it like it does in straight porn.

Ryan D is only on Straight porn since 2015 i assume, but i think dean might be back since "HIV positive" is not a big deal now

Treasure Island is known for its questionable elements, namely a series they published about the fantasy of infecting others with HIV. It's been a radical studio for a while.

From what I understand, it wasn't very far from fantasy as they allegedly made a Poz series and may or may not have disclosed that is what they were doing to all the actors. Treasure Island Media has always been on the extreme side, so this would not surprise me.

That's why I said allegedly and may or may not. Just rumors that I heard, and given what other controversy surrounds that studio, it wouldn't surprise me if there was some truth to them.

If those rumors are untrue, and all of the participants were 100% aware of what was going on, there's no issue there, and you're right that it was their choice. But as I said, with other known issues and problems, including fines and being banned from certain events, I strongly doubt they are 100% above board as far as exposure goes.
