Here’s a question. Do you usually wear briefs under long johns?

Yes. I like to wear white briefs under my white waffle weave long johns when I hang out at home on cool mornings. The fabric of the briefs is soft compared to the waffle weave of the LJs. The long johns are more snug fitting than sweatpants, and I like how the briefs totally show through.

Briefs 100% I tend to go with a fly, but have some pouch too. The thinner the fabric the better.
I also wear lowrise fly front briefs, too. Rare occasion Ill wear trunks. My uncle got me into briefs when I was a teen...I hated having to adjust my underwear every 5 seconds lol
