Sounds like they live together when they are filming, which makes sense from a practical standpoint. Sounds like they’re also friends since Finn encourages Gaten to watch movies that Finn likes.
Doesn’t sound too much like a romantic situation. It would be cool if either of them was gay/bi (especially Finn), but this sounds more like friendly roommates who live together for practical purposes. Like in college - Finn and Gaten are college-aged after all.

The good news is that he actually seems to be playing an adult character in this, and God damn does he look good. The bad news is that it seems like the movie is set entirely in some frozen Scandinavian hellscape, so we'll be lucky to catch a glimpse of forearm, let alone anything more than that.
