First time you saw a cut or uncut penis

First time seeing a cut penis, my own.
First time seeing an uncut penis, in the change rooms of an aquatic centre. An old man stripped naked in front of me, his penis was small and mostly obscured by his pubic hair, but I could clearly see he had skin completely over the head.

I first saw an uncut penis in the locker room/showers at school. Thought he was injured or something. I later asked my father about it and he explained circumcision to me. I'd heard the terms "circumcised and uncircumcised" in the Bible but never really knew what it meant.

In the WWII mini-series "Winds of War" by Herman Wouk and starring Robert Mitchum, the Germans were trying to screen a group for escaping Jews by forcing the men to undress. Resisting this and fearful for the safety of a young Jew traveling disguised with them, Jan Michael Vincent, an American in the film, points out to the Germans that that won't work because most Americans are, like himself, circumcised, thus securing the safety and release of the Jew.

A guy older than me that lived down the street told me that he heard I have a big cock and asked to see it. We went to his place. He pulled out an average length but quite thick cut cock and we jerked each other off.

But most men in the USA born before WWII were uncircumcised. The mass circumcision craze started in the 1940s

Wrong. . . The big move to circumcision occurred during WWI. Doctors had long observed that Jewish boys had a much lower rate of venereal disease than Christian lads, so when the doughboys were sent over to France and the wicked ways of Paris, they were encouraged to get circumcised. My mother said my great-grandfather was circumcised as an adult in bootcamp. Ouch!

Actually, that’s not what started the big move to circumcision either. Adult circumcision may have been promoted to prevent venereal disease in WWI, but infant circumcision had already been popularized by “doctors” like John Harvey Kellogg who promoted circumcision as a cure for masturbation in children. During the turn of the century, it was thought that masturbation led to all kids of other health problems like epilepsy and even caused homosexuality. It was assumed that removal of the foreskin would discourage the practice and make it difficult enough to avoid.

However, that the practice still did not become routine until WWII. That’s when hospitals began circumcising every boy (even without consent). After the 1940s, the majority of males (across all religions and ethnic backgrounds) in the USA were circumcised, as opposed to just a large minority.

Ah, so Dr Kellogg employed more than eating his corn flakes in the war against masturbation! Actually, he seemed to have it in -- or not -- for all kinds of sex, which he felt drained men's vital energy.* Later in life he bragged in lectures of restraining from sex with his wife for decades. (There's no record of her thoughts on this. From what we know of Dr Kellogg, his restraint might have been actually appreciated by her.)

Apparently, a lot of people bought into his theories, and products. One of his patients named C. W. Post, also a resident of Battle Creek, MI, did more than just appreciate. After introducing a health drink called Postum, he went into the cereal biz himself, creating Post Cereals. Having no sons, he left his business to his daughter, Marjorie Merriweather Post. She became one of the first women to run a major company (General Foods) and the wealthiest woman in the United States at the time. With her husband, financier Edward Francis Hutton, founder of E F Hutton & Co., she produced a daughter named Dina Merrill, a popular actress of the '50s and '60s. She also built a sprawling mansion in Florida called Mar-a-Lago. When she died it was donated to the state, who due to the cost of upkeep, in turn sold it to a New York developer, along with many frustrating encumbrances resulting from the terms of Post's bestowal. The developer, in turn, converted it into a personal residence, resort, golf club and government classified documents storage center.

So, from the fear of sex and masturbation, have come cereal and Mar-a-Lago. And now, apparently, circumcision.

* I musta been indirectly influenced by Dr Kellogg's philosophy. As a teenager and beyond, I too avoided masturbation for long stretches as being detrimental to my health and athletic performance. And every morning I eat my cereal. Ghandi also had a lot to say on this subject. He felt eating meat was harmful for spiritual development. I've been a lifelong vegan wannabe. I occasionally have a steak, but just because I really really like A1 Sauce.

Not according to everything I have read. Everything that I have read was that before WWII the circumcision rate was very low. None of my folk were circumcised in WWI or WWII. None of my folk have been circumcised after WWII. I have worked in nursing homes and saw many WWI/WWII veterans and none were circumcised.

Good points. Obviously, WWII increased the trend toward circumcision for similar reasons as in WWI. Also, the practice varies by region and economic status. I note you're from Georgia. In the rural South, many males were born on the farm and not in hospitals, where circumcision had become customary. Another determining factor was cost; the South until recently was economically depressed in comparison to the North, thereby influencing the rate of circumcision.

Similar factors are present in the UK. The royals were traditionally circumcised. It was thought Princess Diana had bucked the trend, but in "Spare" Harry spilled the beans; no, he and his brother are both circumcised. No word yet on princes George, Louis and Archie.

Harry said, contrary to what everyone's said, his mother did not leave them intact but had them circumcised. I have no reason not to believe him. Maybe we're supposed to believe the legion of breathless trollers on the internet who claim to have seen him at the gym, sucked him off in restrooms, fucked him at the baths, had sex with him on the underground. We all have our alternate realities.

First time I saw an uncut dick was in the gym showers in high school. Was a guy born in the UK whose family had moved to the US. All the American born guys in my high school were cut. I just thought he had some abnormality & nobody said anything about it cause we didn’t want to embarrass him!

Growing up in a family where half the males are cut and the other half are uncut, I was always aware that there were "two kinds of penises". However, I didn't learn why obviously until much later, but whenever I saw one that was the opposite of what I had, I still considered it normal. I'm uncut even though I grew up in the USA, so when I got to around high school age and started having sex conversations with my friends, that's when I realized that most guys were cut and that I was in the minority.

But other than seeing some of my cousins when I was younger, the first time I actually saw a cut cock (many in fact) was probably when I enlisted in the military (19 years old) and had to take open showers for the first time. Being in a military environment and having to shower with 50 other guys, you pretty much see what everyone else has, so that was probably my first exposure to all of the different dick variety. There were a lot of uncut guys (surprisingly more than you'd expect given the expectation in America), but still the majority were cut. Among my close guy friends, 3 are cut and one other besides myself is uncut. We've pretty much all seen each other naked before under different circumstances. Everyone seems to have a different opinion as far as which one is "better" as well. But even though most of the guys make jokes about uncut dicks, there definitely seems to be more of a fascination/curiosity with them as well.
You ever invite 1 of the poor saps who got clipped to dock with you? Give em Foreskin for a Moment?

I was 20 when my university roommate and best friend showed me his hard uncut dick that lo and behold, was curved upwards and touched his belly when he was standing up. I was fascinated as I have an uncut dick that curves downwards, it's like we were opposites. He was surprised by my size (yeah I was rock hard and whipped it out) because I didn't show a bulge usually, but it's easier to hide when it points down! But he's straight and he didn't know that I was gay at the time, so I didn't try anything. But that was a thing of beauty! It was pre-Internet so we weren't flooded with porn at the time!

The first uncut guy I saw was at the YMCA. I was taking swimming lessons. I won't tell you how old I was but leave it that I was young. I was in the locker room after the lesson. This old guy came in. He was probably in his late 70's. He looked very frail. when he stripped down I almost fell off the bench. He had one of the longest flaccid cocks I had ever seen. I thought part of his cock had been amputated because I couldn't see his cock head. He had a long foreskin that covered the head completely and had about a half inch overhang. It was only when I was in the army that I saw a few guys who were uncut and realized that the old guy I saw at the Y didn't have part of his cock amputated.
