It’s so sad. Who are they trying to impress and who are they punishing. Maybe one day black men will be able to say their bisexual without persecution. I must admit though it’s a sore subject for both heterosexual black women, gay black men, and the black community as a whole. Until we can sort out our esteem and place in this racist system, it’s unlikely that we will find resolve. He has some mental health implications on top of this. The funny part is: a part of me believes that he could be heterosexual. Then my rational mind says hell naw he’s definitely bisexual. At the end of the day only he can sort that out. As gay men, the greater question is, what boundaries should we be setting for ourselves? Should we stop entertaining these questioning men that present with heterosexual identities? Should we commit to curbing them? What should WE do to support ourselves and our “agenda?”
