My mom & I made empanadas (hand pies) this weekend (with a sweet potato filling, because that’s what we had on hand). Neither of us had ever made them before so this was a test run. They were easier to make than we thought they’d be. We just need to tweak the process a bit and then we think, perfection!
Have to revive this thread. Great polish meal. Pork chop, mashed potatoes, cucumbers in sour cream, and plum drink. This is not my meal but many meals cooked by my maternal grandmother were exactly like this. Except she would do this exact meal with kielbasa instead of porkchop a lot
Knocked this up in 15 minutes. Sausages in onion, capsicum, mushroom, spinach gravy.... with mash pumpkin, potato, carrot and cauli. Yeah, looks a mess, but hey...num nummmm
