I normally only do a partial retraction, have the tip showing so slit is free of foreskin. However if I have an audience I retract fully.

I’m cut but what’s left does usually cover the head when flaccid. If I don’t pull it back when peeing, I tend to spray all over. And urine gets under the foreskin and really starts to stink after a while if I don’t get a chance to clean it up.
