I’m confused, if I recall these scenes were filmed in NYC, but one of the signs here places it in Salem?

The filming was in New York, but the movie takes place in Salem, so they most likely recreated certain advertisements, locations and such.

I did go back in the thread and found that it was filmed in NYC and in my neighborhood of Astoria, which was why it was stuck in my mind. It just seems bizarre to come to NYC to film scenes of small town life of all places. The only thing I can think of is we have a big movie/TV studio here, so perhaps it was easy to do pickup shots for some reason, but otherwise it looks like most filming took place in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and California?

The wife beater/tank top even looks discolored/stained... Like he couldn't have gotten a new wife beater to wear? The suits fine otherwise.

He's still a twink. He's 24, 5'10 and still fairly small even though he put on some muscle. That's the reason he can still convincingly portray teenagers at 24 (Cruel Summer, Hocus Pocus 2).
