People get time off when they're doing movies they don't film eleven weeks straight LOL. And trips around europe are really quick, depending on the schedule there's time to travel. It would be very simple to visit his boyfriend in London, he could do it in a day if he wanted.
The girls during hocus pocus were constantly going to new york during free time, and Froy had tons of time off, it had zero to do with covid, this idea that Froy couldn't go anywhere because he's trapped just shows ignorance of how fiilms/tv are made. It's not lockdown anymore like it was during Cruel Summer.
Amusing how someone's agenda is showing so she doesn't want to believe that Froy would go see his boyfriend of nearly three years. But unsurprising.

Am I the only one (I think maybe I am) who feels a little foolish trying to guess what Froy is doing all the time, from the tiny hints he gives? It kind of annoys me - someone withholding all the information. Even with his career, he could probably reveal more.
Unlike a lot of you guys, I don't really follow his social media now, because it just bugs me. I just come here and see what people post about it - it's less annoying. I don't feel like playing the game of "guess where I am, guess what I'm doing". So actually I want to thank all of you for keeping me posted.

Personally I think most people over share on social media. I much prefer that he posts what he wants, when he wants. I like to think that instead of telling everyone about his life, he’s busy living it.

If he originally shared as little on social media as he does now, I doubt most of us would even know who he is.
It seems slightly strange to me, if you're a fan, that you prefer him to undershare on social media. Not judging you. But do you just prefer seeing him in his projects, then? He doesn't have that many, usually. I don't think I'm wong in saying most of us probably want him more on social media.

I know people have to be careful on this thread to appear to be criticizing Froy. I'm not even saying he needs to post that much more on social media. It's more a question of what he posts. Somehow it turned into a "guess where I am, guess what I'm doing" game. It doesn't have to be. He could post selfies, he could talk about his projects. Espeically after they're finished and no secret projects any more.
Like, with in the film? Because he's not with any actresses IRL. lmao

I'm not saying I want that, just something besides pictures of the water, and plane wings. I have to confess I don't care about the songs he posts at all. I'm a little more interested in following his career, and maybe some humor, and pictures of him or his life.
For me it's a little like being friends with someone who is no longer paying much attention to me. lol

I think most know of him because he utilized social media so damn well in the early days. Dare I say, most knew of his face because of his social media work, much less his smaller acting gigs (at the time). And that was part of his appeal. I don't think it should be a bad thing to say, 'it's ok that we miss the thing that made him so endearing and appealing'.
Basically the old Froy, pre-2020.
I'm actually kind of shocked how little promo he even does for his own projects now (besides Cruel Summer, and even then, I expected way more). He seemed more open and passionate about his music back in the day than these higher profile projects he's doing now.
I feel the exact same way. You nailed everything I've felt for the past 3 or so years. And yes, we all know the circumstances are different now, understandably... But damn do I miss that open, candid, cheeky, giggly, intelligent, socially conscious, beautifully effeminate young man.
I think when some people come more under the public eye, they pull back a little to hold onto a bit of their privacy. Other people crave that attention. I guess it depends on the circumstances and the person.
I feel like, one of the reasons of why he stopped using his social media, it's bc if his own toxic fans, all that hate and toxicity it's awful, all those girls, bc let's be honest the majority on Twitter and Instagram are straight girls who has this really creepy/weird fantasies and when he decides to share a little of his life and his true self, they get mad bc ruins their fantasy, like Kit Connor for example, all this straight girls began to attack him the moment they saw him holding hands with a girl, accusing him of queerbating, sending him hate to the girl and him, all to the point of him leaving Twitter, like Froy. So it's totally understandable that he wants to protect his relationship and his privacy, bc they are crazy straight girls and crazy people in general out there who is always gonna be attacking him and Richard. So for my part, I'm totally ok with him barely using his social media.
Of course the main circumstance that most likely changed his relationship with social media was definitely his connection/relationship with Richard Madden in early 2020 (which no doubt was a surprise to both of them—and certainly changed both of their lives pretty dramatically) as both he and Richard both cut down on social media shortly after…using it mostly around career updates…priorities did change pretty rapidly…
