I hope he is (against all odds)! I don't want him as part of our community after using his platform to repeatedly whine about how he "really suffered" being the subject of internet gay rumors while gay teens all over were being physically attacked or driven to suicide by rejection from their own families.

To be fair those teens don’t benefit from people normalizing outing people. People openly making jokes about him being closeted encourage others to make fun of kids who aren’t ready to come out or who don’t feel safe to come out.

The counter argument usually goes, that he was only presenting a hypothetical to tease the interviewer, not that he is actually bi himself
