I know Carrie Prejean turned a crazy MAGA but she was not a biggot back then.

Nick is a weird case because I don't think he's into men at all but he had that whole phase of queerbaiting early on his solo career. Got on Scream Queens to play a closeted gay jock for a couple of episodes, returns towards the ending and suddenly he was only pretending to be gay, which made no sense and almost felt like he gave up on it mid season. Also got on Kingdom to play a closeted gay but then barely had any proper scenes with men. His thing with Shawn Mendes was more like a meme than anything in concrete.
