Most of his facial expressions from his posts seem so forced to me. Like he is bored or uninterested in doing them. But obviously he tries to hide it in order to get his audience to send donations or purchase his merch.
I wonder if he is aware he is only known for his looks and because he lacks any discernible talent (doing dances on TikTok and playing high school sports doesn't really count), a sense of humor (never seen him crack a joke, use a pun or be self-deprecating) or an interesting personality (he seems to be a simple normal guy with a routine; not crazy or predictable enough to be entertaining).
That is one downside I see to being beautiful, you get praised and receive better treatment for doing the littlest of anything and it works two ways. One, you become an OCD-type of perfectionist and try to be good at everything (looks, athletics, academics, social skills, talent) to live up to your "perfect" image or two, you become lazy and stay mediocre and coast off your looks (which is about the only thing you work hard to maintain). Grant seems to fall into the 2nd category.

.if you’re looking to a not very known tik tok teenager for political statements, quality content or pictures that aren’t just selfies Maybe that’s your first problem. Of course he’s not charismatic or particularly intelligent we are here discussing him because he’s attractive. Not because he’s an actor, or a scholar or even a model. He’s just a 18 year old with a phone and an app I don’t see why people have to dissect it like we were anything special at that age either. Especially when he isn’t marketing himself as anything besides what he is

Modeling would probably pay much more too and be a stable job if he works hard at it. Also be far less socially exhausting than asking for donations and likes on social media and having to go live all the time.
I can't see any difference between a lot of these male social media influencers and sex workers nowadays. Flaunting their bodies. looks and baiting their audiences and then begging for money, donations and gifts. The only difference is they (just barely) avoid getting nude.
Hmm I wonder when Grant's fangirls will get tired of him. He barely acknowledges or shows them any genuine concern and only thanks them for donations or when they make aesthetic edits of him. It's clear he only cares about getting followers, making a profit and he constantly plugs in and promotes his TikTok influencer pals to ensure their increase of revenue too. Even if he's good-looking, he really sucks at connecting emotionally which is something girls really value too.
I think modeling would be more up his alley or exotic dancer because as a social media personality he is very dry. Again, I only check out his social media because he's beautiful.

TikTok just seems like a fad. I will give it another year before people move on. Microsoft will probably waste money buying it (they should focus more on Xbox, PC Gaming or making a better version of Internet Explorer to beat out Chrome). Tiktok is basically a teen-themed video app for instant gratification (just like Vine and Snapchat). And TikTok seems to have really picked up because of the COVID-19 keeping people at home. But unlike Facebook (which has multiple functions like messaging and Marketplace), YouTube (which has user content, movies/tv, music videos, vlogs and education stuff) and Instagram (which is used by meme makers, musicians, photographers, artists and celebs) and Snapchat (which has the personalized messaging feature and has a lowkey appeal). I have a hard time seeing TikTok having staying power if all it has it short videos and lipsyncing.
Trump announced he's banning TikTok as soon as tomorrow. Hope Grant and the other low effort boys have a backup plan.
Basically they will focus on their IG accounts. Or someone will just create a new version of Vine/TikTok.
I noticed Grant never acknowledges his gay fans ever on social media and during his IG/TikTok Lives lol. He really needs to expand his market
