I honestly can't believe that users were asking for this change! GWIP was one of the best sites around! Does anyone have any suggestions of free sites with similar content?
I don't think anyone asked for this change. I think they are just using that as an excuse. The only thing I had seen people request in the comments before was to add video as an option... not cams.
Reddit might have some NSFW communities that could fill the void, but... I am not sure. GWIP was special.

Shame about that. Really enjoyed the site and lots of hot men over the years. 
TBF, a large amount of the stuff on GWIP came from Twitter or Reddit.
I'm sure content was posted or was from other places... but it was still a centralized gallery with a theme that many enjoyed.
The link in #3 above takes us to Queerclick 'Site news' where it states that "we will be launching two new sites - Sticky Cams Live and Guys with Cams Live." ... These aren't new sites at all! ... Sticky Cams Live takes you to Chaturbate and Guys with Cams Live takes you to Flirt 4 Free, both sites having been around for ages ... Who are they trying to kid?! ... ...

I never believed that they were photos sent to the site directly by the guys.
Hello folks. I had an insight that maybe it had something to do with that nude photo published on "guyswithiphones" of President Joe Biden's brother. The page has become a target maybe? The corridors of power....

My guess is there weren't many guys who uploaded pics to the website and the admin was doing it by himself with pics from Reddit or who knows where. This would take quite some time daily, and without proper monetization for the platform, this was just wasted time for him. He should have added some way to make money besides the ads. Clearly he made this for profit, cause in the end he just points to guys with cams.

I uploaded a few photos to the main site which were posted
I guess he was using a dating app and shared his nude photo with someone who decided to put it online! Not sure if the man was using a gay or a straight dating app. I am quite sure that "guyswithiphones" was a target and even forced to disappear completely. The withdrawn of "guyswithiphones" happened soon after this photo was made public on their site!
