I loved it when Carrie Fisher revealed, just before she passed, that she had a passionate affair with Ford while making Star Wars. It was right before the junket for the new Star Wars film he was in, as I remember, and he got asked about the book a lot, and did a lot of blushing.

It's by no means a good story. Carrie recalls in that book that she was drunk and being hit by a lot of guys right before Harrison appeared on the picture to "rescue" her by getting her out of that place, only to get her into his car to have sex with her (by the way, he was 33 and she was 19). I guess it's less creepy because she agreed to it and continued to have sex with him afterwards, but it's still a bit weird. At the end of the day, it was something they both wanted to do, so I guess it's okay, but you cannot deny that a 33 year-old man shouldn't really sleep with an underage girl.

Either way, like I said, they both seemed to want it, so I guess it's okay. But still, I don't think the story is as charming or romantic as some people I've heard made it out to be. In the book, Carrie says that they barely spoke, even while they were doing it or right after they've done it. In her case it was about having someone she could experiment with, and in his case, having someone to do it with while they were shooting. So, in a way, they were both using each other.

True, maybe passionate affair is the wrong wording. It sounds like they were fuckbuddies during filming and she thought there was more to it than that.

This scene in FRANTIC is the closest he ever came to actual nudity. This still photo from that scene gets printed a lot, but always backwards, for some odd reason, so Ford's face looks odd. This is the photo shown the correct way:
