i think it's more that sometimes he says stupid things that aren't really thought out or that deep (like many people do) but people on the internet just interpret it wrong, not for "cancelling" reasons, but like, because they're chronically online lol. Then again, at the same time he probably shouldn't say too much stupid shit given the size of his platform/audience which I guess just opens the doors to stupid people saying dumb shit about him. idk, he's just annoying sometimes and that's okay!

ok tbh i don't watch him much at all, i did for a little bit but yeah he seems to just talk and sometimes say dumb stuff but people actively trying to take dumb stuff he says and compile it and take it to the extreme to make it look worse but yeah i just follow for his hotness not his thoughts lol
Can you give like, five examples to that effect? I've seen people make that claim about him all the time and not once have I seen any of them give a concrete example beyond cracker or some other stupid shit. His views on most issues are pretty tame for a leftist. 99% of his takes are not even controversial if you focus on what he's saying as opposed to who's saying it.

I don't think he does that. I've had a pretty complicated parasocial relationship with Hasan over the years, but the fact that he doesn't weaponize his following like other big streamers/political commentators is the one reason I've never lost respect for him. He's usually the one getting dogpiled on, often by fans of much smaller streamers like Destiny and Vaush, because he refuses to weaponize his fans against them the same way.
as far as I saw, the woman dredged up an old tweet he made about amber heard to cause drama and he made a shitty response (which he admits was a shitty thing to say but he's human), more drama ensued but they dealt with it privately and it was all sorted.
maybe i shouldnt have said he sets his following loose, but id rather say that they do his bidding with or without his permission. i say this because ive had them in my mentions talking shit to me for an off-hand comment ive made.
He does discourage his fans from harassing anyone in DMS or on other social media and if you contact his mods and provide information he'll ban anyone who is harassing you, every content creator has some fans that go to far, but at least Hasan public discourages it and will hold people accountable
