because it is a bigger cultural practice than just a muslim practice. many christians (I think a big exception is lebanese christians) in middle east do it too. turks are overwhelmingly muslim and even though a majority are liberal, they still have circumcision as it is a big part of turkish culture. it's nonsensical to debate if hasan is cut lol.

So my point still stands, why would I assume a socially progressive family would circumcise their kids? And why would I believe someone telling me Hasan is circumcised without providing proof?
