Photogravure of the representatives of Belgium present at the coronation of Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia. Prince Albert of Belgium (1875-1934), later King Albert I of Belgium, is sitting at the front of the group with six men standing in a row behind him. All are wearing ceremonial military uniform. The coronation of Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia was held at the Kremlin on the May 26, 1896. The celebrations lasted for several weeks and were attended by many foreign royals and dignitaries.

R. Norris Williams – survived the sinking of the Titanic but was told to have his legs amputated due to severe frostbite. Refused the doctor’s advise and two years later, in 1914, won the men’s singles title in the U.S. Championships.
