R. Norris Williams – survived the sinking of the Titanic but was told to have his legs amputated due to severe frostbite. Refused the doctor’s advise and two years later, in 1914, won the men’s singles title in the U.S. Championships.

This is such a great photo. It could be a GQ ad for a new aftershave, he’s so handsome. And that smouldering look right into the camera!

I always admired CLARENCE ROSS (1923-2008) and his fabulous physique (not to forget his nice bulge!) who won many international titles and was very active in the 40=ies. What a fantatisc muscle hunk!
