I didn't get my Joe getting Hook in a bearhug wish but it was a pretty solid match last night. Something you don't often see with AEW... logic. Tony gets a lot of flack, and rightfully so, for weird booking - but whoever pieced together the match nailed it. Joe got the W but Hook definitely elevated his status. The way the match flowed was close to perfect. It wasn't absurd by having Hook have too much control. Hook had his moments and Joe made him look bad ass and really put Hook over ... especially at the end. Was wondering if Papa Taz was going to get involved during the after the bell stuff. Would've been an interesting angle. But gotta say I was really impressed with all aspects of the match.
