If human sexuality were only that simple... But let's ignore the big, pink elephant in the room that the average men shows some level of same-sex attraction (porn if full of dick [big ones], gangbangs, MFM, homophobic jokes/locker room talk, array of muscle/fitness mags for "straight" men).
Look, it's even simpler: men want to be beautiful and sexy in and of itself (muscles, big penis, etc). I see all too often in recent years, a decline of the family and family values. There isn't any support for heterosexuality and we get depicted like pigs in the media.

In the wild there are many many species of animal that have instances of homosexual behaviour.

I believe it not correct for the one parent to be called dad, if she is female.

I have seen evidence of very well balanced children coming out of gay parenting.

Gay parents don't breed gay children as often as straight parents do. Most gay people come from hetrosexual traditional mom and dad families.

I wish people would stop trying to quantify what it is that straight people and homosexual people like. These are social constructs that do not reflect, in any way, the intricacies of the individual. Such a question, like all questions, is great at revealing the narrow mindedness of a significant amount of people. Read some of the stories written by adults who were raised by gay parents and maybe you'll realize how troubling the reality is, and how unlikely your scenario of "gay parents or to the streets" is.

I agree with you. There used to be a word and it was normal. Now we find all these tv shows on the air that have homosexual couples acting as if they are normal. The entire program is based on homosexuality. The word gay is constantly used and even the title of "The new normal" is used.
I agree with the experts that a child needs a mother and a father. Since it takes a male and a female to produce a child it only seems "normal" that a female and a male should raise the child.
