No! As much I find Fred's HOT, he's definitely not the guy.

I should have added that this one I'm looking for have vanished from YouTube.:( his cranial nerve exam had over 5 million views (a huge achievement for male asmrtists back then)


If I had my powerful screenshot habit back then, it would be easy.

Unfortunately, there were already ASMR videos back in 2009 when I started watching. The early YouTube conversations seemed to pop with massage videos (Lita), spa videos, medical examinations, product walkthroughs, Bob Ross, and Baba on one end while the other involved holophonic/binaural audio demonstrations (which included whispers) that people found relaxing. Eventually people started intentionally recreating some of these and began exploring triggers.

I can't think of a major male figure who surged to popularity around 2014 from a nerve exam. I would've guessed someone like Dmitri. Even back then, a lot of ASMRtists would suddenly disappear, and channels were much smaller back then.

possibly not him, but this reminds me of just a whispering guy. he ended up switching his channel name to "duff the psych" and started doing videos on psychology/mental health. he still has his old videos up


in regards to wildwater, he was very good. i remember him mentioning a boyfriend at some point. i think someone said he moved away from videos dues to a stalker issue?

oh damn, I didn't remember his name, but that video of Dapper Reading triggered my memory. He was great!

It's entirely **on topic** because it's ASMR-related.... Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean the rest of us don't. I'm not a fan of feet pics or anything feet related, don't see me gurning like a bitch. Grow up

Also, his asmr is actually pretty good. He has a slight lisp and is good with his triggers. I love smaller YouTubers like this because the content feels more honest. Less produced. I’ve been watching asmr for years and years and getting tingles has become somewhat of a rarity
