So... I was taking some photos for someone last night and I decided to try to get one from the back. Now, obviously, I can't see my backside all the way, so I had no real idea of what it looked like. Uhm...when I did, I kinda was a bit weirded out by the results. I look kinda like a Renaissance baby, and I feel a bit uncomfortable by it. I just wanna know before I start freaking out if this body shape comes from fat or muscle, and if so, what you'd all recommend I do about it? Thank you in advance for any helpful feedback.

Yes, a bit Rubenesque, as you suggested. I suggest more real food (meat, butter, sugar, eggs, vegetables, etc.) and eliminate refined carbohydrates, sugar substitutes, and fat replacers. A better diet, one that requires time and preparation, will reduce the fat in a way exercise alone cannot.

Thank you, sir! I will watch what I eat a lot more then. It's probably all carbs, as I don't think I eat those other things very often...
Also...I learned a new word in the process.

Stop freaking out about your body. You look just fine. Everyone is different.
Nothing in the OP's post suggested he was "freaking out." Neither did he imply he wanted to be the same as anyone else or was concerned by the notion that he was different. He merely seeks self-improvement. Certainly, to some people, another person's pursuit of self-improvement -- particularly in one's physical form -- is a threat. It begs introspection, challenging one's own inflated self-image along the lines of, "if he can do it, and I don't, then is he better than me?" But to those of us, like the OP, who are humble enough to want to improve, curious enough to ask how to improve, and energetic enough to pursue improvement, I say your efforts are appreciated and I encourage you.

Well, actually... I did make this thread because I was very disturbed by how my body looked. I used words like "weirded out" and "uncomfortable" for a reason. I had a strong, emotional, and disappointed reaction to my hody, so I posted this thread because I wanted reassurance that I wasn't actually fat. I actually think that the person you're replying to understood my post more than you did. Now, don't get me wrong, I am absolutely looking for honesty and ways to obtain a better body, but this post wasn't as introspective and innocent as it seems. I didn't want to make anyone compare themselves to anyone else....I just wanted to know what I can do to fix this...thing.

The hip bone plays a part in buttocks shape and that area also stores fat. In your case you can stop freaking out as your ass is perfection and not the fatty dimpled ass of some Renaissance Cherub or Rubenesque at all.
