Jack Alcott

OMG Dexter: New Blood is confirmed for a season 2 at Showtime. Hopefully we get more hot scenes with Jack.
No. Not at all.

Showtime has gone straight to series on a prequel series — Dexter: Origins — that will tell the origin story of Michael C. Hall’s serial killer drama that first bowed on Showtime in 2006 and was part of a wave of anti-heroes that captivated viewers.

There are two series announcements from the press release. The other is the continuation of new blood and will follow Harrison

I think a sequel could work quite well.. I haven't kept up with it at all but I scrolled past an article the other day that said season 2 was cancelled, but I didn't read it so who knows what it actually said

This article says "The network also revealed it's developing a new version of the popular 2021 limited series Dexter: New Blood. This time around, the series will depict the ongoing emergence of Dexter's son Harrison." And this article says "Showtime is also developing a new series of hit 2021 reboot, Dexter: New Blood, which saw Hall reprise his role after the disastrous season eight finale, with Jack Alcott playing his estranged son Harrison. [...] who was revealed to have his own need to kill, after he witnessed the murder of his mother Rita by the Trinity Killer as a baby. It will follow Harrison after he fled to New York City following his father's death, while battling with his own Dark Passenger." Both are from today

from what i understand, paramount plus is focusing on the prequel series, but they haven't definitively shelved a second season for New Blood (they may or may not do it in the future)
