Way bigger arms and legs than this kid. Nose looks a little different. Not sure if his smike would be the same if he smiled real big. And the logo looks like a horse, not a lion. Plus the stripe on the helmet is different lol. Am I crazy lol? I just don't think it's Stafford but it's an interesting guess.

Are we SURE this is a jock? (I assume you mean the wrestler on our left). It kinda looks like a strap but it also be the folds of the thighs of his singlet. I see what I THINK might be a leg strap on his right leg but not on his left, which makes me wonder if he's jocked at all.
Yo you're asking the right questions - we basically need to see more pics and/or video from this event. I wrestled and most people wear some kind of compression briefs or shorts under a singlet, and these lines could easily be consistent with that. Plus, the pics where you see leg straps from the side look fake as fuck, which I have no idea why people pretty much edit a jock into pics but they sometimes do lol. So it's pretty indeterminate from what we have posted but I'm still open to the possibility of them being jock straps. And boys isn't it pathetic that the way I'm talking is almost like a fucking UFO sighting lol? Jock straps should be fucking standard again, not as rare as a UFO lol
Will have to look carefully thru that guy's pics but for now I have to respectfully disagree - in a lot of the matches the jock lines look inconsistent af. And those just aren't how jock lines would actually look, in my eyes - they look superimposed, as if the singlets were transparent which they're not. What it looks more like to me is the photographer just has a hobby of editing pics of athletes he likes LOL. Would be cool af if I'm wrong cause it would mean a bunch of HS athletes were jocking up but it doesn't look right at all to me. Especially if you've ever worn one under compression shorts or compression pants or a singlet, it looks different. Just my two cents.
Beautifully put: the bit about why it's even KNEWS that some wrestler wore a jock. In my experience (and as an alum I shared a small locker room that had a separate "caged" area for the wrestlers that was closer to their practice space) I never once saw a wrestler do anything but commando I actually swiped a singlet a few years ago and tried it on without a jock and also with, using the large full length mirror in the LR. The singlet was surprisingly supportive without the jock, but I'm such a jock hound I would certainly wear one if I were a wrestler. I left a few "gift jockstraps" in their caged changing area, but they were never touched.
Once I clicked on it and then enlarged it I could clearly see the leg straps. Well, at least there's one jocked wrestler out there! Thanks for sharing that.

You certainly pegged that one, mate! I have often been misunderstood by the irony-impaired, and even tho written words lack inflection, it's the responsibility of the writer to do his best to imply he's being ironic. However, it's lost on lots of people, which is why I used terms like "officially decree"--a hyperbolic statement that would raise suspicions among the sensitive that maybe I didn't literally mean what I wrote.
