These pics show something I find really fascinating about jocks prior to like the 60s is how the straps didn't used to go all the way on the outside of the cheeks the way we wear them now, but over the middle or even sometimes in the crack. It's really interesting!

Men have ALWAYS been considered as sex objects.Men weren’t considered sex objects back then. Thus, who cared if a man was naked in a photo? During WW2, Life Magazine regularly printed photos from the battle front showing men showering, sunbathing nude, getting physicals, whatever. These photos would be very strange for a non-porn publication today.
