The scam is similar to what Patrick from vintage Sean Cody is currently doing. Even the payout is lower than before, big studios like Mindgeek or Nextdoor paying the model $750 for a duo scene is guaranteed. Famous gay porn stars will get paid about 1k per scene. Bo Sinn got paid $10,000 for his bottoming debut, and then $5000 for his second bottoming scene. Mindgeek and Nextdoor are big whales in adult industry, their profits mostly come from straight porn sites. They have much deeper pockets than you think.

Small studios have a limit budget, so paying $500 per scene or less is possible. But for Ian, he's, for sure, not in this category.
