Except that all the studios are being gobbled up by porn conglomerates that crank out mediocre content using the same old, same old tired models, most of whom are on Fans sites. It is difficult to find the amateur content that sites like Sean Cody and Chaosmen were known for.

I don't know if it's just the way I search for porn or because I'm used to certain names, but anything I watch that's worth the watch is from about 2015 or earlier. It's kind of funny when I find something "new" (to me) that's great, because inevitably it will be from like 11 years ago. For me, it seems like an industry where time stopped. I don't subscribe to OF, so I'm sure I'm missing a few things.

Agree. Search on the web today isn’t what it was in 2012, where fewer people knew how to find/dox porn performers and IG/TickTok had not yet happened. Today it’s too easy for friends/family to find out about porn on social media, so way fewer people “try it” unless they have to, or they really want to.
