I was just thinking the same! i loved the game, and ultimately got used to new Spidey, but will always love John and wish they'd kept him.

Ben, Tom and Yuri (the VA) all share similar facial features so maybe it's just a coincidence. The technology they use might also be a factor so unless the face model looks similar to the VA it doesn't translate correctly.
