I’m not sure how much credit he deserves for that. He tried being a “straight porn star” and it didn’t quite work out. While in the midst of that he said gay-shaming stuff, pretended as if the gay porn he did never existed, pretended that he was never gay-identifying, and spent a bunch of time clearly worshipping, idolizing and uplifting straight-presenting/hetero-leaning guys. It’s cool that he’s gained more queer acceptance. But it’s a shame that so many of these dudes who contend with fluidity, hyper-sexuality, contradictions, mental health struggles, uncertainty about the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, relationship, commitment spectrum can’t avoid having multiple stretches of internalized phobias, hetero superiority, gay panic, homo shaming, queer insecurities, using people. While at the end of the day, he’s still mostly driven by ego, validation, attention and money.
Why does a porn star need a thesis written about them?
They’re “public figures”. So, people will talk about them on places like this. A lot of porn performers also depend on queer males for branding and money. while sex work in general is interesting to talk about because people’s dimensions, what turns them on, ego, money, politics, sociology, etc. are frequently connected to the sex work they indulge or the sex work they view.
My only point was giving him credit for pinning a tweet of himself sucking dick is kinda silly. You don’t get “credit” after you spent years attacking people who brought up your gay porn past and gay identity, after you spent years focusing on uplifting straight-presenting and hetero-leaning dudes, after you needlessly posts vids of you and a druggie Criss Strokes messing around thus ruining his “career”, after you only re-embraced a public queer image once you started flopping.
I understand porn is a business first and foremost. And a lot of these dudes have issues with ego, insecurities, internalized phobias, mental health, fluidity, contradictions, where they are in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum. But after what he indulged I don’t think pats on the back is called for.
But these essays you are constantly writing about a person making adult entertainment are not normal at all. You come off as a disgruntled fan who got ignored. It's easy to ignore these porn stars if you don't like the content they put out or what they stand for. It's really NOT that deep. Please just go back and read some of your posts about this guy and tell me that you are NOT putting too much energy into this dude. It seems personal at this point. It's weird energy.
I never was a “fan”. I’ve watched maybe two of his clips over the last five years. He’s not good enough in any porn he does for me to be a “fan.” While I only visited this thread in a long time because someone liked an old comment. I’m not a fan of any of these dudes. And I’ve gone in on many public figures here and elsewhere. So, it’s hardly a porn thing or personal. I’m not even bothered by these dudes. It’s the blind worship that I see and the ass-kissing that bothers me. Fantasize about whoever you wish, but don’t push fake or incomplete narratives or put sh*tty people on pedestals.
You were never a fan yet you hawk a thread about someone you aren't into because it bothers you that people like someone else you don't think they should......
