Jordan Elsass

Agreed, curious to know how he will grow from this one
I think he will. I I think I can kind of understand his frustration. I feel like initially in the beginning he was supportive of his brother. He may have had a bit of jealousy. But then it did start to grow. I mean we saw that when he pretty much told Clark that he wanted to go back home. But then that went away after they all had a family discussion.

This go around, I felt like he was more angry at that Timmy dude for taking the position on the team that he wanted. He got jealous yet again. And felt like things are being taken from him that should’ve been his. So that prompted yet another jealous induced chain of reactions that he usually wouldn’t take. And as usual he got busted for it. I mean he has a girlfriend that’s purposely selling drugs(that he still didn’t stitch on by the way) that could be dangerous to him, his brother, his father, and his mother. It’s like he knows all of this but yet still did something stupid anyway. He better learn his lesson.

There is no question what he did was wrong. Duh.

The point is how his parents reacted. In this show, Jon is what... 15? Of course he screwed up. Its the parents' responsibility to teach their kids the difference between right and wrong. When your 15 year old fucked up, your first response should be to figure out what you did wrong, not how your idiot teenager acted like an idiot teenager. Being angry in the moment is understandable, but guilt-tripping is a bad method of parenting. I dont even know how that is controversial.
Yeah no, really don't see how the parent messed up at all with Jon being jealous that he isn't as strong as his brother or dad. Your argument doesn't hold.

to figure out what you did wrong
I feel like normally, that would 100% be what Clark and Lois would do. However in this context Lois has just spent the day and night worrying where her husband was, and Clark had not only been arrested, he almost watched his brother die to save him and did see his mirror self dead. They're not at their best mind when the news was broken to them and it showed in their reactions.

On the other hand, as I've said above Clark and Lois I feel did mess up in that they didn't pay as much attention to Jon as they did and not really taking the fact that he's trying to protect someone into account. I mean not once did they ask why is he protecting the other person. And it's not really their fault, but still.

In conclusion, and idk how controversial this is but, the child messing up and the parents also messing up in their reaction are not mutually exclusive y'all.

he was more angry at that Timmy dude
Also yes, this. I feel like the thing that pushed him into XK isn't that his father or even his brother is stronger than him, it's the fact that another kid, who is completely human, took his place in the team by cheating. He's done all he can the way he's supposed to and he still gets benched? No wonder his resolve broke. Also, we did see him instantly regretting it once he actually got the position in the team.

spoilers but pretty sure i saw
Jon in some kind of emo Superboy outfit
in some set pictures... so...
Tbf with Bizarro, Ally Allstone, and her necklace involved, are we really sure it's the Jon we already knew? Plus there's also that photo in Bizarro's farm where his Lois and his Jordan's face were crossed off but not his Jon's....

Something tells me that there are going to be flashbacks of bizarro and his son, the jon of that earth, who does have powers. And another theory could be that Jon, in that vulnerable state, does the same thing that his aunt did and goes with Ally, in an attempt to merge with his other self, but I doubt that's going to happen XD.

yeah very possible it is related to Bizarro, but I can totally see them trying the emo depressed off the rails thing with him too

I kind of hate the fact he's supposed to be the athletic/muscular one of the brothers and in reality Alex looks more muscular than he does.

LMAO, I dont, I just dont care enough to run here and complain about every single one of his "shitty" opinions
You know everyone can go to your profile and see that’s just a straight up lie, right?

no use in bogging down the thread with pointless back and forth, he has a shitty opinion on the situation, and that’s that.

The bad takes from this idiot never stop
The whole situation with Will and Jada is a mess. Chris said she looked like GI Jane. Which is a character that demi Moore played. She didn’t shave her head because of alopecia. Demi shaved it because her character was tired of it and wanted to fit in with the rest of the soldiers. I felt it was bad ass. But apparently Will did not. Still…I wouldn’t have hit Chris though. That was a bit much. Talking to him backstage would’ve been the better option because the consequences could’ve been worst. Like losing his Oscar and charges. So…it’s a mess all all around.
