Jordan North Dj

If you can get past the awful scripted skit of Jordan causing "mischeif" walking around Katy Perry dressing room then running away like a gay then there is a post where Jordan dress as Joel Corry and is showing off his arms. Looks good.

It is quite a bad run, isn’t it. Reminds me of Family Guy when Stewie said “He runs like a Welshman”

Agree. The Sexted stuff is so natural and effortless whereas Capital is a bit too trying to be cool and funny and often doesn't work
They’re desperately chasing that viral moment where people will share their videos, it wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve forgotten they’re a radio station

Just watched that podcast on YouTube. Funny how Jordan ok joking about sexy but goes a bit shy when it personal real talk sex about him. Cute.

Also is this plugging every Global station at any given moment going to happen all the time? I know the podcast is going out on the BBC so it's free advertising for Global but it just sounds like Jordan is cock sucking his boss all the time. We get it Jordan the BBC didn't give you what you wanted so you went to Global. Chill out. His Saturday Kitchen appearance was embarrassing to. It's like he trying to keep bosses on side because he only signed for one year? Very odd.

It is odd how in recent months they’ve tried to suggest the BBC did him dirty by the immediate dismissal but it was Jordan who quit and went to a rival because he wanted more money and Greg James’ job.

As with many professions, if you move to a rival they can dismiss with you immediate effect and place you on gardening leave so there is a paid gap between the two jobs.

Working the notice period only leads to unruly behaviour and the risk of self promotion, and the BBC wouldn’t have wanted him to lure listeners to Capital or start slagging off the BBC while still at Radio 1.

He could have eventually ended up with a fairly decent television career on BBC One but now all he can hope for is occasional appearances on ITV2.

Ignoring the fact that the move to Capital was only announced after the BBC's public fuck you by announcing his departure, contracts with non disparagement clauses and similar exist for a reason.

You have a point that the BBC has a right to look after its own interests. But none of us knows the whole story, up to and including whether or not Jordan has any interest whatsoever in a television career. Weird thing to have a chip on your shoulder about.

Radio 1 dropped Jordan quickly for protection. He was going to a rival so they didn't want him knowing their future plans. This happens often in many industries. Jordan left mid February and started at Capital beginning of April so to be fair that a quick turn around. It's been said that Jordan signed a contract in September 2023 for another year on Radio 1 despite Global chasing him since May of that year. If true then the BBC could have taken him off air in February and stopped him going to capital till September this year.

The thing is Jordan keeps bringing Radio1 up. In the papers he talks about how bittersweet it was to beat Radio 1 on Saturday Kitchen you could see he was giddy. What he said about Capital beating Radio 1 over all is not correct it's only one demographic they are slightly ahead in. Also dumping on your mates shows a lack of class. It's been 10 months now and just like a mate talking about his ex all this time later is shows he is not over Radio 1. I think it's likely Jordan still wishes he was the new Radio 1 Breakfast show host. When Jordan was on the wheel a couple of weeks ago he was at the bottom of the leader board. Michael asked him where he was on the leader board last time and he said 1st. Then Michael made a joke about that's why you shouldn't leave the BBC as the ads mess with your mind. While it was all jokes I think Jordan's face said it all.

My advice for Jordan would have to been not to talk about Radio 1 at all even if your were beating them, Just move on. He and the boss at Radio 1 clearly did not get on towards the end but bosses come and go. Down the line Jordan could have gone back when new bosses were in place. Don't burning bridges over one or two people as it takes opportunities away. To give an example he had two shows and a documentary on BBC Three those two shows have now been axed and no new documentaries are been made. He now only does odd bit on This Morning.
