Pretty good and he is in it a lot early and towards the end. Hartnett is quite good in his role, it is very different than what anyone likely remembers him, and let's be serious, he is way better looking than Statham. He still has the Ken doll bone structure. Hartnett looks early/mid 30s at worst. TBH he is probably better for Superman today than he was 20 years ago. His voice sounds like a long term smoker though.

It is a straight up fact that this guys Pearl Harbor character is one of the most beautiful male characters in film history and we, as a society, do not talk about it enough. Poor Ben Affleck looks so ugly standing next to him. I get dragged into watching that terrible movie at least once a year but good grief, no straight guy can deny it. Even when he is supposed to look filthy, he looks like a supermodel thrown into ww2.

"Hot", "Sexy", "handsome" really do not even fit. It is really the definition of male "beauty". He is not believable as a soldier or the "2nd choice" in that movie. He's way too pretty to be in the military or not getting whatever pussy he wants.

Even in the death scene, he looks like a china doll.

Always liked how his magazine covers and spreads were never showing shredded abs or big muscles. They were just close up heads shots screaming "LOOK AT THIS BONE STRUCTURE". I read that he converted from vegetarian to meat in mid 2000s and he clearly gained some weight. Still handsome and healthier looking but his face was no longer as shredded as it was during his career explosion.

It is interesting how unknown this guy is among todays teen crowd. He was as big as current Harry Styles in his day, even if it was only for ~2 years. Seemed like every woman in the country was in love him - all races and all backgrounds. Totally overshadowed Ben Affleck in Pearl Harbor...

He is overdue for a true comeback. Marvel should make him Mr. Fantastic in Fantastic 4.
