I noticed it now. I just rewatched his and Joe's interview where they talked about who were the best smelling cast members (Yaz and Bash). I noticed this in Ariana too because in her music videos and interviews the camera angle is always on her left. But with Kit, in most of his interviews it's either he's facing the camera or the angle is on his right.

I actually thought that covering his mouth while laughing in that one interview with the other cast members was just one of his mannerisms, which I find cute. If you think about, he and Joe are a perfect match because of that.

Considering that a lot of people were making fun/talking about Joe's missing tooth, I doubt he's thrilled about accidentally showing it on camera too often.

Kit is pretty buff now... And he is very quiet, modest, charming in public, though he seems to be more cocky n smart with his friends... He acts really well.... Plus he portrays a character in Heartstopper who is goofy, kind, loving, honest, tall, rugby-player boyfriend... Which I think also rubs off on how we perceive the actor...

you can see in some videos that he has kind of a gap between his incisors, maybe that´s the reason and he is ashamed or something

also on the show when he and joe were playing in the snow while his tongue is out, you'll also see the gap and on the youtube video where alice teaches them to draw, he turns his face to his right and the gap is clearly visible
