Poor kid comes to LA and started getting beat up by the infrastructure and scooters.
Those accounts you see on ig and twitter that are gatekeeping Kit's sexuality and screaming at anyone who thinks he might be gay are ironically the obsessed & homophobic teenyboppers who are wishing Kit were straight. It's always the straight white girls, the ones you see in the videos taking pictures with and stalking him, who suppress the young up and coming stars from coming out and living their truth. It's always the same old story of a young actor afraid to come out because they fear they would alienate their straight fanbase. Unless Kit is heterosexual and only keeping his sexuality a mystery to queer bait, the very reason he doesn't wanna be labeled is he fear the society wouldn't accept him, and he would lose the "straight" roles in the future.
Its only been a day and he's already rolling on the floor. Kit needs to slow down lol.
Props to him for riding an electric scooter in LA I wouldn’t dare to do that.
Gotta give the man credit for being so willing to take so many fan photos while on vacation...and he looks so geninunely happy in just about all of them. I know he's still relatively new to this level of success, so he still is making time for his fans, but still, I'm sure he would enjoy some peace. 
I wonder if he had any idea how much he would be recognized in the US? It sure it amazing the global recognition that popular shows on Netflix bring!
Also, here's hoping all of the American fans have been cool so far. I guess he had a somewhat crazy experience in France, so hopefully that hasn't happened in the country I live in.

The teenage straight girls will actually make him famous. If he came out as gay, his status would decline. It’s sad but most straight fans want stars they can see themselves with. If you look at his out co-stars, most of the straight girls aren’t checking for them. It’s same in music industry. Troye Sivan has female fans. But if he was straight he would actually be really big like Shawn and Harry. I don’t think the girls are homophobic. I see the same things here with guys wanting him to be gay and with a bf so bad so they can dream about being with hi.

yeah but gen z is also pretty tech savvy and much more aware of that type of shit, so they're way more careful with things

This is very likely because S2 filming begins in September and he'll need to look as close as possible to the 16y/o "Nick" we saw in that final scene of the first season for continuity purposes since the plot picks up right where we left off!
After S1 wrapped in early June 2021, Kit really started hitting the gym hard and put on a noticeable amount of weight which also added more weight to his face and made him look a bit older and different than the "Nick" we last saw at the beach > you can see it in some of his promo appearances with Joe back in April...
He's obviously still working out and looks great, but the focus is now on dropping some pounds while still keeping a hard & defined muscular body > "getting shredded" as its known!
