There are artists on twitter and instagram who make fakes that look super real and even make you doubt but the link is a total insult to the motor capacity of a thinking human being.

You forget how young Kit is until he is with someone older. Not that Tom is old. More that Kit is still so young.

Definitely leaner > slimming down for scene continuity reasons since S2 stars filming in Sept and picks up shortly after the final S1 beach date scene!
When S1 wrapped in early June/2021, Kit hit the gym hard and put on a noticeable amount of size, muscle, weight, especially in the face > so he now needs to drop some of this added size now

My guess is that he was bulking and is now cutting. If his mass were to increase too much between seasons it may look weird/unbelievable.

Cutting will allow him to keep some muscle but lose overall mass, getting better definition. Probably a better/more believable look for what is supposed to be a high-school rugby player.

Hopefully he posts some topless pics soon so I don't have to speculate...
