I think DOG fans are a small but passionate bloc of voters. It’s possible their Supporting Actor votes got split between Kodi and Jesse Plemons. Hopefully, Kodi doesn’t mind quite as much as we do because it was a special moment to see the deaf fellow win.

Kodi, I'm sure, was honestly just happy to be nominated. This was a great year and moment for him. He looked great at the show as well! Beautiful in blue.
He did have a nice outfit. His performance the highlight in the power of the dog and the same goes for Benedict cumberbatch too. Even thought the movie itself wasn’t all that great, hopefully kodi gets nominated again for something else.
I wonder if he hung out at all with bare-chested Timothee Chalamet? They would make a beautiful couple in an alternate universe

happy he won the Golden Globe award b4 CODA started building all that buzz... getting that award at 25 is big deal still.
Although he didn’t get to take home the Oscar, i’m so happy that he won lots of other awards. Awesome that he got so much recognition for his performance. I can’t wait to see what he does next.

One of my favorite films of Kodi’s is the film Alpha, where he plays a prehistoric boy who befriends and domesticates a wolf. He looks very cute in it. Most of the time he’s dressed in heavy fur clothes, but there’s a skinny dipping scene (without anything visible) and a scene where he briefly walks across a beach from a distance in a loincloth Not much, but still nice.
