Passing through the DC area a few weeks ago, I made it to Spa World in Centreville, VA on a Sunday night.

Nicely busy, maybe 60-75 guys over the course of the evening. I've been there once before, last Labor Day weekend, and since then the policy changed from "mandatory nudity" to "optional swimwear" -- definitely a move to attract younger patrons. A nice mix of body types, ages, and ethnicities, with the majority of the guys in fairly decent shape.

There was one group of 3 guys in baggy boardshort trunks and another pair of 2, but everyone else was nude. I saw one of the guys later even trying to dry himself off with a towel inside his wet trunks, which seemed a bit desperate and ineffective.

This was only my third visit to a Korean Spa, and the first time I saw a guy with an erection. Near the end of the night after it started to empty out, I noticed one guy alone discretely stroking under the water. He later proceeded to shower with a hard-on and wasn't really hiding that.

There was one guy -- a nice-looking muscle jock dude -- who would loosely hold one of the small towels in front of his crotch when he got out of the water and walked around, mostly but not entirely hiding his cock and balls. I was kind of surprised to later see him later with his hands behind his head and relaxed while across his thigh a scrawny younger Korean guy's arm was reaching over under the water. Again really discrete, and I thought considerate of others.

Report on my visit to ISpa Irvine, with a question at the end for anyone willing to exchange info for my field report lol.

I went on a Saturday. Arrived around 4, left around 8. Was told by attendees that peak time can run until 9 or even 10. Things were busy throughout. Many guys were presumably looking; I was followed into the steam room by like 4 dudes who seemed to be trying to cruise me. There was a pretty attractive Asian guy there in the earlier hours. Interestingly I wasn’t sure if he was cruising, but he did at one point make very definite eyes at which point I followed him all the way out to a patio outside the Jimjilbang area once we dressed. He was a nice dude and we chatted. It was interesting to hear that we had both noticed each other. Another twink type Asian dufr i saw in the steam room invited me via Grindr to do something in the bathroom there. Apparently that’s where stuff happens at ISpa often because the rooms are pretty open. I declined because I wasn’t looking for hard cruising and I continued to circulate the wet area. Around 7-8, things started getting busier and the cruising was more overt. At one point a bunch of guys came into the steam room after me and started wacking it lol. During that time there was one very attractive guy but I left to have dinner with one of the guys I chatted with before really sussing out his orientation.

overall this is a good one for people looking for lighter cruising or maybe just picking up a number. There were not very many highly attractive men but a couple were decent. The number of Asian dudes in both the cruising and non cruising population was high if that’s your thing.

My question for anyone willing: any other suggestions for places to meet hot Asian men in OC/SD/LA? I’ve heard wi spa has a lot of hot Asian men, but that it’s not possible to play there. What about picking up a phone number like at Ispa?

Honestly Century or Wi are your best Bet for hot Asian Men. I’ve played at Century. Wi i played at early hours of 4am or so when it was super quiet and not patrolling.
 
I am wanting to go to check out immersion spa in San Jose. Ive never been too a Korean spa. Any shared story of experience there would be great
 
For those in the North Country…Go Place in Toronto - Markham Neighborhood is really nice.
Went Sunday for the first time, kind of like a more luxurious Island Spa, wet area is pretty good - no sauna but a nice
steam room, two pools, ICE cold rain showers and some pretty intense water massage jets…coed space is very nice, saunas are round….food is good, kind of
western-washed….
Wet area is clothing optional, I was naked as were four other guys, two Spaniards and two Asian gents, no flack or attitude from the many groups of young guys in calf length board shorts(lol) apparently they expect someone to be naked when they go…

I've been there several times over the past few years. As spas go, it's pretty tiny: small sauna and steam room, jacuzzi, cold plunge and a dark sleeping room with a glass paneled door to the main hallway. Any time I've been there, I'd say about 50-75% of the guys are there for "something else." All ages from twinks to daddies, and a fairly wide variety of body types. Staff monitors things regularly, but not intrusively. It's pleasant enough, and fine if you happen to be in the area, but probably not worth driving a great distance for.
