My experience there has been guys take the easy way out and do the cover up. The carrot or the stick? You need a majority to go naked otherwise it will tank and everyone sits in towels.

Exactly. Somewhere the US lost it's way and began coddling the next gens. I remember fondly when we all had to shower in junior high after the first 2-3 weeks of group showers the hurdle was over and a lifetime of zero anxiety with them.

I would hope guys looking for action go to a more appropriate place like a bathhouse. It's that "action" that can ruin a place with crackdowns and patrols by the staff .

The attendant there does patrol. The same guy every time I have visited. He seems to just want to keep the action somewhat in-check. The reality is that if guys didn’t go there for action, they would loose most of their business.

Wait... what? SoCal has more Korean spas than anywhere else in the US and post-COVID might even have more than Seoul. Have you visited Koreatown in LA? Or just searched "korean spa" in Google Maps?
