Turkey is more “Eastern Europe homophobic” rather than “Pakistan/Saudi homophobic”. His life is not in danger unless he goes to Konya or some rural Kurdish village.
Kurdish people are known to be homophobic? I thought they would be more tolerant because many islamic fundamentalists don't consider them to be muslims because of their ethnic and cultural practices. Just asking out of curiosity...
Not Turkish Kurds apparently. They’re known to be more conservative in Turkey and Iran compared to to Syria and Iraq.

Didnt turkish police beat lgbt people in pride this year? Even though there is a political conflict between my country and turkey it still saddens me that people like me are so oppressed a few miles away from me.
