Possibly is using some fraudulent content then. Not unheard of. Owen Lindberg is someone I'm aware of who used a photo of a lookalike porn star sucking dick and tried to pass it off as himself.
For the chat thing I think that could easily be explained by him hiring someone to chat for him. It's incredibly common for these new OF guys to just let an agency or hire do the chats/DMs for them. It rarely is the actual person.
