Despite me having the privilege to reply and say something, I REFUSE to engage with the popcorn of it all of this thread just for me to get another 2 day time out. What I can say, I am very much enjoying the drama of it all. Keep going! I'm rooting for all my LM supporters! Love ya bishes!

Super interesting. I think what's different from potential other people trying to copy cat Luigi is that he has a history of back pain and other circumstances that could be used to motivate emotional trauma. It's also interesting how the legal system works in the sense that a gang member can execute another gang member and there is no big man hunt, no full investigation, no perp walk. School shooters don't get a perp walk and a huge police presence in the court room. Yet, you shoot one billionaire and everyone loses their minds and it becomes super important, as if they value the victim's lives differently.

A lot of people hate Trump.
A lot of people appear to support Luigi.

Out of interest, just for a thought experiment. Do you think that if Trump pardoned Luigi he would win more favour of the public, or would he lose more?

Considering Thompson was one of Trump's ilk, it would happen about the same time Hell freezes over.

But if he actually got that desperate for approval, it would almost certainly backfire since it would be obvious that's the only reason it was happening.

A president can only pardon federal crimes, and the federal terrorism charge is the least likely to stick.
