Luigi Mangione

I am a prison abolitionist. It should be replaced with something else, more productive and more humane

I feel Luigi is unlikely to ever leave prison (alive)

The American Penitentiary system is abhorrent and the Judges are arrogant vile stupid sadistic psychopaths. And the public that endorse this draconian system are immensely sick and stupid.

It is like hell on earth. It is the complete reverse of moral and a torturous hellscape. Wide spread rape, suicide, self harm, mental illness, murder. With millions suffering from incarceration. And the US still has weekly even sometimes daily mass shootings along with a slew of other crimes and then they proudly elect a massive criminal, fraud, liar, sex offender misogynist amoral lunatic.

Which is why America manages to be the sickest society on earth despite lots of competition. And they are smug, righteous and sanctimonious about this barbaric torture system.

But Luigi may have exposed the system for its inherent lies and corruption and put a virtuous face to the imprisoned.

Nobody should suffer and we should do everything we can to alleviate and eradicate suffering. Not relish it or exploit it.

Hopefully with the internet people can reach out like I am doing from across the ocean and try and change hearts and minds.

Otherwise humans are fucked and they deserve to be.

Just sayin!
A fucking men.

Let's channel our thirst for justice and our thirst for this man into some good collective action.

Let's make sure Luigi lives to see capitalism and its prison system fall, while he's young enough to enjoy it. And then we can help him enjoy both his freedom and our own.
✊💦

PBS legal round-table discussion strong consensus being Luigi serving significant prison time, especially given the Feds pursuit of terrorist-murder charges to send a strong message of deterrence against potential copy-cats in this globally followed murder case.
^^Gun violence in the USA is not a GLOBAL problem, but a DOMESTIC one. The takeaway message I get from this is hypocrisy as unlawful "death by cop" leads to little or no jail time in New York state in comparison to other persons. And whatever lengthy sentence is doled out to other persons won't deter gun violence

top U.S. legal defense experts seem unanimous <a> best case to argue = for a significant prison sentence, with possibility of parole, based on several mitigating circumstances noted above
^^That's ludicrous. Such legal experts must be for the prosecution of the client & not his defense. His defender must be able to prove his innocence as he's plead not guilty. Otherwise a plea deal would have been hashed out instead of this case going to trial

Despite me having the privilege to reply and say something, I REFUSE to engage with the popcorn of it all of this thread just for me to get another 2 day time out. What I can say, I am very much enjoying the drama of it all. Keep going! I'm rooting for all my LM supporters! Love ya bishes!

HOW?
It looks like the mods are giving us a lot of room here. What did you do? Did you shoot a CEO?

The last time I spoke about politics, I think it was around page 372 or 374, I was temp booted lol so 🤷🏻‍♂️ I guess I went past that line I suppose

That exact point was raised in the PBS legal round-table discussion which I recently watched. The strong consensus being slim-to-none chance of Luigi not serving significant prison time, especially given the Feds pursuit of terrorist-murder charges to send a strong message of deterrence against potential copy-cats in this globally followed murder case. We shall see, but top U.S. legal defense experts seem unanimous that even a TOP defense legal team's best case will be to successfully argue for a significant prison sentence, but with the possibility of parole, based on the several "mitigating circumstances" noted above
Super interesting. I think what's different from potential other people trying to copy cat Luigi is that he has a history of back pain and other circumstances that could be used to motivate emotional trauma. It's also interesting how the legal system works in the sense that a gang member can execute another gang member and there is no big man hunt, no full investigation, no perp walk. School shooters don't get a perp walk and a huge police presence in the court room. Yet, you shoot one billionaire and everyone loses their minds and it becomes super important, as if they value the victim's lives differently.

I'm gonna send you a pm if that's okay, please look out for it.

they may have supported the protestors, but they didn't incite violence. Trump gave them the marching orders and didn't call in the troops to stop it. Pence did.

But this is off topic and you can't argue with a Trumper.
A lot of people hate Trump.
A lot of people appear to support Luigi.

Out of interest, just for a thought experiment. Do you think that if Trump pardoned Luigi he would win more favour of the public, or would he lose more?

Considering Thompson was one of Trump's ilk, it would happen about the same time Hell freezes over.

But if he actually got that desperate for approval, it would almost certainly backfire since it would be obvious that's the only reason it was happening.

There's a higher chance that Elon and Trump are in a relationship than a possibility of that ever happening 😂

A president can only pardon federal crimes, and the federal terrorism charge is the least likely to stick.
