It's Spanish for an afternoon snack. In Dutch it's called "vieruurtje" (litt: 4 o'clock). Often something sweet like a donut or a cookie, that people eat halfway between lunch and dinner.

Then... this is accurate, exactly the same thing as Portuguese. And depending on the region (don't forget the size of Brazil), this may change a little. In some parts (such as some cities in the northeast), MERENDA can refers only to the snack that is given during school breaks.

50 shades was just a bad trilogy in general. Both him and Dakota Johnson are very talented as showcased in their post 50 shades career
