Male versus female sexualization / objectification

I'm not sure as to why men would feel uncomfortable doing nude scenes in a softcore film? When you are doing pornography, the expectation is that you are going to be naked. And that you be performing simulated sex scenes. And along the same lines in hardcore pornography, it's full penetrative sex. So in either case men are going to be exhibiting their penises.

I don't have any issues with being naked in front of other people. My partner and I have gone to Gunnison many times. There is an expectation that you will be naked in front of other women and men. And I have no problem being naked in that situation.
agreed, but as you would have seen in many softcore tv shows, and movies, you won't 99 out of 100 times see men's full frontal (please correct me if i am wrong here), and if it is the trend, then definitely, there must be some reason behind it.. and i fully agree with you that if there's a situation, where women are expected to be fully nude, then men also should be expected to be fully nude.. that's what my little brain treats as equality. and if you don't mind, i want to ask you a question, seeing your profile photograph, seems like you are wearing a bikini brief or tanga brief, if indeed this is your normal wear underwear when you go for swimming or beaches, have you gotten any bad comments or looks from people.? and do you see many other men also in briefs in pools or beaches, just curious..

Once again, I believe you operate under a flawed premise, which is "a campaign in the west that men and women are same..." There is no such campaign. People act as individuals, and where allowed in the world, will express their individuality in different ways. Some of those ways will be to your liking; some will not. But we are not talking about specific, individual people. We are talking in generalities. And, as a generality, men enjoy seeing random women naked, and women do not enjoy seeing random men naked. No one said men want to see women naked "all the time." No one said women never want to see men naked.
...and my only mere point is that "in generality, men don't enjoy seeing random women naked, and women also don't enjoy seeing random men naked"....

What I have on is not underwear, it's a swimsuit. It just happens to look like what men wear as underwear. That one is a little more risque, and it's more for the private pool parties with couples that my partner and I go to.

I only use the brief's when we go to Gunnison or Fire Island in the states or vacationing in Europe or South America. I see women watching all of the time, they just do it very discreetly. The vast majority of women are crotch watchers, and they do that all of the time. Certain will give an eye wink or will or whisper a compliment. One even told my partner that she was a lucky girl. So the vast majority is positive. Some women show their displeasure, but a very small minority. Women do like looking at men, but they prefer looking at the fit and good looking ones.

If anybody was wondering, I use the briefs from skinzwear when we go to the beach. It has a little less coverage than shown in the photo. Eye Catching without being too revealing.

If, as you say, "men don't enjoy seeing random women naked," then the Internet porn industry is doomed.
