Let's hope People pipe down tho. When I remember the Drag Video, Christ, they weren't having it. But honestly, the creators decide, not the fans.

I personally think they broke up and Mark realized his flaws and started working them and Ethan realized how much he loved Mark. I could be wrong but I think they both hit a tough spot and grew.

I think they 1) broke up their online bf relationship because pimping their love felt dirty 2) they got seperate places to experience living alone and have some space to grow individually. That's the gist of it, imo. The second Ethan posted that pic of Mark in the dress I knew they were still together. Ethan is playing around with gender norms and the idea of toxic masculinity. Mark is allowing him the space to grow, supporting him and growing with him, etc. And then the video where they go rock-wall climbing for the first time after months, together? Girl, please. They basically behave as tho they have no boundaries. Like they still "belong to" each other in a matter of speaking.

I know I get a lot of flak for this, but the "Ethan is playing around with gender norms and the idea of toxic masculinity" part made me laughlaugh a bit.

i did kind of scratch my head @ the Kiehl's thing. Kiehl's/beauty products is definitely more Ethan's bag, but Mark could have tagged along willingly for the cause or just to support bae/Ethan dragged him? TBH, first I thought they never broke up for realz and the break up video was a stunt. But then in the video they were acting like they would see very little of each other after that, which seemed genuine. And then Mark was doing stupid shit like taking the doors off his jeep and driving around LA like that. But then he put the doors back on when they drove down to Joshua Tree and they've been on ever since, and Ethan has been a more active party in the vids instead of a ghost seemingly haunting Mark. LOL Hmm. So, maybe they did break up but got back together and are just choosing keep their boyfriend relationship on the low?

All I know is the way they act with each other now is like two guys that are dating while in the closet. Publicly.

They remind me of Joey Graceffa & Cameron Elder when they used to be in each other's vlogs, and Joey's entire fanbase was pretty sure they were into each other, but Joey was still in the closet and it was all on the hush/never confirmed or denied. Years later Joey makes that wannabe-Shane docu-vid where he confirms everyone's suspicions. LOL

Mark's channel wasn't really dying b4 the break up, so I don't think they did it for views. I think they did it to get rid of the yt couple stench, sink the ship so to speak, and take the outside pressure off their relationship. .

judging by Mark's instagram story they had brunch and then went bike riding up to Griffith observatory... You never see Ethan in any of the pic/vids, but the cell phone's case on the table looks like the one Ethan uses, and the bike Mark shows is definitely Ethan's. They're so adorably bad at this. :laughing::heart:

the comments on the videos & Mark's instagram in particular are so overly-gushy and transparent. It's like these people think Mark will read their glowy comment and slide right into their DMs now that he's single... :skull:
