I guess Mark is inspired by Ethan and going the route of having his fans pay for content.
Interesting. If it’s a copy of his YouTube I don’t think it will be worth it. I don’t mind to support creatives but description doesn’t entice me to pay for his content. I know he needs to make money and pay bills. $10 a month is a lot.

I would like to see him do fun playful stuff, like date and rate five different sugar daddies as videos. He needs to get out of his head and have some fun instead of these overwrought wake up routine, walks, visit bakeries and reflect on life videos while denying himself caffeine and alcohol. Hell, do a chapstick challenge video with Donnie or something.
Definitely don't think his "sell-by date" has passed but I do feel he needs to rethink this. It seems like Mark is fighting the aging process. He is still trying to behave as if he is in his teens or twenties. Gays in their thirties have varying priorities but I don't think Shawn Mendez tops those lists. Maybe if he engaged more with LGBTQIA+ people in his actual life he would be inspired. I just don't think he has found his community in Indy and that is hurting his content and creativity.

Yes location matters unless one is doing something interesting like renovations or living off grid line those gay couples on YouTube.
Indy is very boring. Nothing to do there. He needs to find a niche. Get on tiktok. I feel for him bc staying relevant in social media is not easy. There are a new crowd of gays now doing well on tiktok with thirst traps. Also his peers are very creative in staying relevant.
His demo/audience is older. They are busy with jobs. He needs to do something interesting to appeal to them. Or change his content to appeal to a younger gay audience. His relationship was a pull before bc gays were vicariously living through them. They were couple goals. Now that dream has disintegrated, what else is left. Mark doesn’t have a big personality. He is very vanilla. No interesting hobbies or desire to do anything out of the box aside from putting on nail polish. Very ground breaking.
If he was smarter he would’ve created a channel not only oriented towards gays as they are such a small market.
We can go to the Shawn Mendes thread to talk about how hot he is and engage. We don’t need his take. It’s sad though. He had so much potential.

Mark lives in Indy, only spends time with his straight married friend and family. No other interesting friends who can bring something different to his life. His taste palette in fashion, interior design, or food is not interesting. He dresses like a straight bro with no fashion taste. He isn’t cultured or knowledgeable about anything interesting. His try at podcast was a failure bc he didn’t have anything if substance to share. He is very mediocre. It’s sad but what made him special was his relationship brand. He is very bland. One can only rely on their body for so long.
So if you take that Mark is now among gay creators who are very polished, sophisticated, with taste and style. Gays with personality who live in the real world and have advice to give. Just go to tiktok and you will find many funny gays, stylish gays, and educated corporate gays. Gay audiences are also going more to straighish gay bating men or are more sophisticated and interesting.
It’s sad he has not evolved at all. At least Ethan rebranded and grew weather you agree with him or not.

There's nothing wrong with Indy- It's a fun town. There's also nothing wrong with the life he leads.
Others have said it, but it's really easy to stop watching him.
But he has a point, he didn't evolved, Ethan did it, why Mark can't do that? He has even lost so many followers because he turned boring, he is still hot, but that doesn't save him from the boring videos he has been doing lately.

I didn’t mean to offend Indy folks if you are from there and is triggered. Maybe it’s Marks fault for not showing viewers how fun it is bc he rarely does nothing in the vlogs. We are going by his point of view of Indy. It’s clearly not inspiring him to do do fun things in the city.
Actually you are the worst kind of fans for Mark as you are telling his audiences to stop watching his content if they find it has gone down in terms of quality. His numbers are already down. He is where he is today partly bc of viewers like you who keep him stunted and don’t critically engage to challenge him to do better.

My favorite videos of his are videos he shot in which he traveled and showed off unique places. Not matter what anyone says, he has a great eye for a good shot and is very skilled at video editing.
I’d really like it if he took the time to travel around the world, shooting video, and even interviewing interesting people he meets documentary style (I actually really loved those videos too).
I feel that these are his greatest strengths and he should focus on those. He could easily use his Patreon to fund this.
But to become another needle in a needle stack of gay YouTubers like most of you seem to want IS boring.
