Gotta hand it to both, they didn't play coy at all for this scene.

The bar has been raised, straight actors who think you can do gay roles justice.

Well, they kept up what they said they wanted to do: have two actors playing gay guys having sex the way gay men would actually have sex and by doing that you can overlook the fact that you didn't really see either nude clearly.

The scenes still served their purpose and I'm glad that the writer of Philadelphia is writing it.

The other thing they said was, you'd never see the same sex act more than once. I guess it forced them to be creative. Good for us.

DISAPPOINTED W/ THE SEX SCENES
Inasmuch as I admire the hot pairing of Jonathan Bailey & Matt Bomer, I am not quite satisfied with their sex scenes. It's wild but LACKS the intimacy between the characters. Like it's more of a CIRCUS of a performance: sucking toes, licking armpits, BDSM role-play, pumping buttocks suggesting blowjob, and a whole bunch of covert, fade shot, dim-lit sex scenes.

There's NONE of the passionate missionary lovemaking, face-to-face/ eye-to-eye contact while sex, chest-to-chest bearhugs, sexy abs rubbing, full-guard position with legs wrapped around the hips, groins locked and humping against each other, with the person on top displaying his plum buttcheeks pumping up and down. Or at least, give us some cowboy riding while they torrid kissing with tongue

That's the kind of sex I wanna see between these 2 sexy beautiful actors --you wanna see some connection rather than them acting out some outrageous acts that they're having sex! Such a disappointment

Chemistry isn't determined by only sex scenes. Their romantic and light hearted moments show they have lots of chemistry. The vast majority of viewers agree on that much at least.
