Matt rife

He has always done the "Why do I have to feel bad for being a straight white male" bit, I prefer my himbos silent
This. I don't give a fuck what their politics are unless they post about them on the internet.

Also, the idea that streaming platforms paying Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock are "woke" is insane.

Well non woke comedy means no holds barred. Getting a backlash from saying that shows the fascistic tendencies of the far left. The far right is exactly the same. Thankfully most people live somewhere in between. Jennifer Aniston was completely right. Comedy has died. A small vocal minority has ruined everybody's fun. You can't say anything without offending some dainty flower's fragile feelings... because anything offensive someone says must be personally taken by you and you must make it your personal mission to annihilate them completely if it's the last thing you do... until you wake up the next day to look for the next thing to be offended by... I mean it's not a Monday if you can't make some poor schmuck lose their everything. :joy:

And no, I'm not saying it's okay to say just anything that pops into your mind (of course there are consequences), but the purpose of comedy is to make light of all kinds of issues, even difficult ones. If you can't laugh at how silly you are, you might be one of those off with their heads people.

Let's see how many minutes this stays up. :sob:
Yep, this pretty much sums it up perfectly!!

Oh, brother. I can't believe people are still saying woke? And it's always conservative-leaning people (like my ex tbh) who think people are being wrongly "canceled" left and right. Chappelle still has his career and his money. Joe Rogan is probably more popular than ever. Everyone is just fine. And there is PLENTY of great comedy out there right now that isn't "woke," but also doesn't feel the need to talk about how not woke it is and/or constantly pick on sensitive topics they know too little about to include in their routine. I know because my instagram feed is full of it. Stand-up and otherwise. Matt Rife is not great comedy, and it isn't because he's offensive. He wishes, quite frankly.

Lol quite frankly

He said he was single on a recent podcast and that he eventually wanted a family and get married but he jokes about the dating scene in la and how much he’s hates it in his stand ups.
These guys love bashing the dating scene in LA just because women are smarter and actually dating men who secure a future and have money.

Also I wouldn't doubt he's toxic AF.

The LA dating scene is fucked. “Securing a future” and having over a million followers are different things. The first can be achieved by most hard working people, the second is achieved through paying for plastic surgery with inherited money.

You do realize that all comedians aren't telling the true story right?? Most of the jokes are prepared and add up.

Probably a mix of both. Some true. Some fake. Some real But embellished to be funnier.

He’s had it for some time, but he uses it for more behind-the-scenes type stuff from what I understand (I don’t subscribe). Maybe the occasional shirtless pic.
Correct. It’s nothing more than stand up videos and PPV baits of shirtless pics.
